"I just wanted to say thanks again for such a fun weekend.  I had the entire slow drive home to reflect
on everything and fully process it all, and I felt like I was coming home from a retreat of some sort where
they warn you not to make any major life decisions for two weeks until your high wears off. :) I am sure
you are aware, but you have such an awesome group of people working with you that are incredibly
friendly and genuine.  If nothing else, I want to keep diving so I can hang out with all of you!

But what really kept coming to mind was how thankful I was for all the times you checked in with me.  
Although seemingly minor and casual, I really appreciated it.  Your ability to take something new,
challenging, and potentially stressful and put it in a way that was fun and unintimidating helped
immensely.  I know, as a teacher myself, there are tricks to do this to get people interested and
comfortable, but, as I said before, you and your staff are so genuine. It really made me feel a part of a
very supportive group.

I am looking forward to the advanced class to get to see and dive with you and your crew again.  Just no
more making me laugh underwater, okay? ;)

"I just wanted to drop you a couple of lines. I have to be honest with you. There were so many times
during the pool sessions when I wanted to give up because I felt so claustrophobic and didn’t feel
completely comfortable in the water. However, I think I speak for all my scuba buddies that our
experience last weekend in Monterey was phenomenal and you should give yourself a big “woohoo!!“
for making all that possible.

The class was great but I think what was most outstanding about it was you made it so much fun. I loved
the field trips. I loved that you pointed out all the wildlife that I’d never seen in the flesh before (thanks
for putting the crab on my head. I loved the structure of the class—from going over all the exercises
prior to each dive to providing us with a briefing afterwards. It was so good for me to hear that feedback.

I have to say that you are a class act. I am really looking forward to signing up for the Advanced training
in February... Please continue to do what you are doing because you made us all (especially me) feel so
comfortable in the water and you reminded us why we were all out there in the first place…to enjoy our
experience. "
