Why did I put this site together?
My name is Kyle McCane. Next to breathing continuously, there is no more important skill that
contributes to the enjoyment of scuba diving than Buoyancy Control. Whether you're cruising along a
reef and need to stay off the bottom or checking out a wall with the sea floor a few thousand feet below
or if you just want to chill and get into Zen mode and get centered during your safety stop, good
buoyancy control makes it all possible. So, why did I put together this site??? As an homage to
weightlessness?? Naaaa! I found FinPivot.Com was available and thought the domain sounded cool.
What I do
Hey I just love diving and I wanted the opportunity to share my passion with my friends and family that
are not here to participate in it with me. This is why I teach (goodness knows it's not for the money).
The experience of breathing underwater and experiencing a completely different world is indescribable.
My goal in teaching is to expose students to this new world in a safe and fun way. If I can get them to
love and appreciate diving and the underwater world 1/10 as much as I love it, then I'm fulfilling my
dream. If you haven't tried diving already, I invite and encourage you to try it. Please let me know if you
have questions about diving or learning to dive.
